Policies
Below you will find a summary of our working policies. These with the intention of aiding and supporting a strong learning community for students, teachers and families. That being said, we understand that policies are not on size fits all so if there is something that does not work for you, please reach out and we are happy to discuss potential solutions to support your needs.
Scheduling
This is your Education description. Concisely describe your degree and any other highlights of your studies. Make sure to include relevant skills, accomplishments, and milestones gained. Don’t forget to adjust the timeframe in the subtitle.
Recitals
Students will have three opportunities to perform in a recital this year :

November 20th, 2pm (Dress Rehearsal 11/18)

March 9th (Dress Rehearsal 3/8)

June 15th (Dress Rehearsal 6/13)
While it is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged that students participate in some way whether it is handing out programs, singing/playing with their teacher or attending to support their fellow students.
Cancellations
For all absences please do the following AS SOON AS POSSIBLE:

Email to your teacher and info@nextlevel-ma.com with subject “Absent - Date - Time”

Go to MyMusicStaff Calendar and sign up for one your teacher’s make-up times

If no available times contact your teacher directly or sign up for a make-up with a different instructor.
Advanced Notice

Semester-Based Students must schedule make-up lessons. You will still be responsible for that lesson.

Per-Lesson students are encouraged to schedule a make-up, however, with advanced notice can skip a week and will not be charged.

24-HR Cancellations
We understand that last minute illnesses, family emergencies and prior commitments happen and we are prepared to make it as convenient as possible for you to make-up your lesson.
In the event of a last minute cancellation, you have one week from the date of that lesson to schedule a make-up. If you do not schedule your make-up within a week, you are still responsible for the cost of that lesson unless otherwise discussed. Our goal is to make all students’ monthly lessons happen.
