  • Where did the idea for Next Level come from?
The idea for Next Level Music Academy grew out of John Waynelovich and Sara Holmes teaching private lessons in the attic at Ja’Duke. Over time, their rosters grew and they found that having each other as a resource to bounce ideas and collaborate lead to better outcomes for students and teachers. The construction of the new Ja’Duke Theater presented a new opportunity; what if we could create a music school here in Turners Falls tailored for individual student goals? What new student experiences and opportunities could we create? Next Level Music Academy was born.
  • What is Semester-Based Enrollment?
Semester-based enrollment is an agreement between NLMA and families to commit to weekly lessons for the entire semester. We believe this model will better serve our learning community as consistent, weekly attendance helps students retain skills, meet their goals and feel more prepared for performance opportunities (like recitals!). For the 2022-2023 school year, we will have two semesters Semester 1: September-December (4 months) Semester 2: January-June (6 months)
  • What are the benefits of semester-based enrollment?
Over the years, we have seen how student and teacher absences can be a setback for student growth. Our goal is to provide students with weekly lessons opportunities. Your child’s teacher or comparable substitute will be available for every weekly lesson. We will also provide make-up lessons in case of last minute cancellations or prior commitments.
  • What does it cost?
You will be billed for the month’s lessons on the first of the month then the bill must be paid in full on or by the 15th of that month Ex: For a 4pm Tuesday lesson you will be billed 3 lessons in September, 4 in October, 4 in November, and 3 in December. *Due to holidays/school vacations, some months will have 3 lessons and some will have 4. **While we prefer monthly payments, if this does not work for your family but you still want to commit to the semester and take advantage of this pricing, please reach out and we will work together to make a payment schedule that works for you**
  • Special Ja'Duke Pricing for Semester Enrollment
In order to assist families looking to enroll their child in multiple performing arts opportunities we are offering discounted semester pricing for students enrolled in at least one Ja’Duke class. If you haven’t already, check out their offerings at www.jadukecenter.com. **Again while we prefer mo nthly payments, if this does not work for your family but you still want to commit to the semester and take advantage of this pricing, please reach out and we will work together to make a payment schedule that works for you**
